The hardware tests on ScanPit run inside your browser. Key presses, mouse events, controller input, audio levels, camera frames and display information stay on your device and are not uploaded.

Microphone and camera permission is only requested at the moment you press the start button on those specific tests. Stopping a test releases the device immediately. No audio or video is recorded or stored.

ScanPit does not require an account and does not ask for personal information to run a test.
