What this test checks
The browser reads the DualSense through the standard gamepad mapping, so face buttons, bumpers, triggers and the touchpad click appear as numbered buttons with PlayStation labels.
Adaptive trigger resistance and haptics are not exposed to web pages, but analog trigger values from L2 and R2 are.
Bluetooth pairing behaves the same as USB for testing purposes.

- How do I connect a DualSense controller to test it?
- Connect it by USB-C for the simplest result. For Bluetooth, hold the PS button and Create button together until the light bar flashes, then pair it from your operating system. Once connected, press any button to make the browser expose it.
- Can I test adaptive triggers and haptics here?
- No. The browser's Gamepad API reports buttons, triggers and sticks, and DualSense-specific features — adaptive trigger resistance, haptic feedback, the touchpad as a surface, gyro and the light bar — are outside it. Trigger travel is measured as an analog value, but the resistance motors are not.
- Does the touchpad register?
- Only as a button. Pressing the touchpad in reports as a standard button; the touch surface itself is not exposed to the browser.
- Do I need a PS5 to run this?
- No. The test runs on any computer with a browser — the controller just needs to be connected to that computer rather than to a console.
